You know I also wonder why Mom and Dad work so hard with these leaves when they do it over and over every year. Mom says there is one creepy crawler that likes to live in leaves that freak her out. TICKS. She hates them. I had to have some taken off me a time or two. Put you know what? Some of the trees still have about a fourth of the leaves still on them, which is weird, cause this time of year they should be completely off. Mom is optimistic though, she says at least the majority of them are all burned. Mom promised me we could go visiting a lot more now that most of the work is done.
Mom wants to Thank every one very much for the good wishes that everyone has sent her for her birthday. She got to go to her favorite mexican restaurant on her birthday. The have something called a burrito relleno that she loves. Mmmm she says. There is so much of it she gets to eat leftovers for her lunch the next day. Now, when do I get my mmmmm treats??

Ticks live in leafs? We neffur seen ticks (an we don't wanna). 'Course we really duzzn't haf much in the way of leafs eiffur. When it's windy the palm fronds fall all offur the streets though.
Leafs are fun, aren't they? I like hiding in them.

Hi, Casper! That's a lotta leafs. Our trees drops lotsa leafs, too, an Mom an the boy push them into piles, then the same men who steal the trash come back an steal all the leafs! Bonnie says Mabel's tree out back usually turns fire orange afore droppin its leafs, but this year it got cold too sudden an all the leafs fell off wifout turnin orange first.

An a happy be-lated purthday to yur mom. My beans luv Mexican food, too, but I purrfur chick-hen. Or fish. Or treats. Mom says I wouldn't like relleno.
