THANK YOU

I am overwhelmed at all the Purrs and Prayers that Casper has been getting. Thank you so very much. He should be well very soon with all those prayers, and also with Missy Blue Eyes by his side. The force feeding didn't go over very good, he couldn't keep it down. So I decided to give him his favorite chicken Temptations. He ate a little but that didn't stay down either. Last night I baked up some chicken. He didn't eat any of it last night, but today he has been eating some of it. So far he hasn't brought it up. I still haven't seen him drinking any water but I could have been in another room when he did. I will talk to the Vet tomorrow to see what she thinks. Thank you all again so much.

We sure hope he eats something! Not eating is so sad. Purring for him!

I am glad that Casper is eating a little chicken. The not drinking worries me a little. If you have a mouth syringe, you might try giving him 1cc of water that way and see if it stimulates him to drink. I send my prayers and Herman sends healing purrs.

We're sending purrs which rumble straight from Our hearts to you, that you will feel a bit more peckish very soon. It's that one meal that will lead to an extra sip of cool water than another bite of Chik-hen (Gentleman Beau sends his Compliments on your choice of entree, by the way!)
Karen Jo had an excellent idea about the dosing syringe for water!
Also, The Royals and Beauregard all love a few ice cubes in their water. (Our V-E-T suggested Beau be encouraged to drink more, and he's copied Brutus with the Ice Cube Obsession).
We feel very good about Cap'n Casper will be in top form soon!
With Whisker Pouches that inspired Mousie's Rosie! to begin the Legend Of F.B.'s, how could he not?!

Much Love to you all!

Gentleman Beau felt moved to share this prayer for Our Friend, The Captain;

Heavenly Father,
Please help us in our time of need,
You have made Caspersmom and her family stewards of Captain Casper.
If it is Your will, please restore him to health and strength.
We pray too for other animals in need.
May they be treated with the care and respect
deserving of all Your creation.
Blessed are You Lord God,
and holy is Your name for ever and ever

Glad he has started to eat. You might ask the vet about getting some cat milk (they have it at most stores for kittens) for Casper. Most boy cats like it and it will help him regain his weight. Don't give him cow's milk it is hard for cats to digest.

Many many purrs from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde & prayers from their Feeders!! Casper looks a lot like our MIA Sir Thomas of Snuggle. He was in the same little as Zaphoid, usually a blue tabby point siamese look although sometimes he'd go lilac or red! Do you have a fountain? I know that helped Zaphy when he wasn't drinking.

More purrs & prayers & hugs and and and...
